Herefordshire Light Infantry

The Herefordshire Light Infantry was a regiment of the British Army from 1861 to 1967.〔(Herefordshire Light Infantry at the archive of regiments.org )〕 Its heritage survives as a platoon of (E) Company, 6th Battalion the RIFLES.
The Regiment had no lineal connection with the 36th (Herefordshire) Regiment of Foot.
==Museum==
The Herefordshire Light Infantry Museum focuses on the history of the regiment and is located in Suvla Barracks, Harold Street, Hereford.
